About the 2025 Asian Herbal Medicine Study Program

2025 Course Calendar and Cost

The program consists of 15 six-week modules of 2-hour live lectures each week and 1 mini module (4 weeks long).

 

Total of 98 program hours.

Course Schedule (Thursdays 11:00am–1:00pm MST)

  • Module 1: January 23 through February 27

  • Module 2: March 6 through April 24

  • Module 3: May 15 through June 19

  • Module 4: June 26 through August 7

  • Module 5: August 21 through October 9

  • Module 6: October 30 through November 20

 

Cost

  • Program cost: $2,200. Early registration discount: $1,800 (if you register for the program before December 15th, 2024).

  • To pay in installments: $500 deposit, then five payments. The payment plan is 10 monthly payments of $220 (total: $2,200).

  • Modules can be purchased individually. Please email drcannon@theahmrc.com for more information.

  • 50% discount is available to those who have taken the herbal program previously with Dr. Cannon, when paid in full.

Module 2

  • Herb-Drug Interaction

  • Herbs and formulas that:

    • Clear Heat and Dry Damp

    • Clear Heat and Toxins

    • are Moist Laxatives and Purgatives

    • Resolve Food Stasis

 

Module 3

  • Herbs and formulas that:

    • Drain Damp

    • Resolve Wind Damp

    • Expel and Transform Damp

    • Expel and Transform Phlegm

    • Stop Coughing and Wheezing

Module 4

  • Herbs and formulas that:

    • Regulate Qi

    • Move Blood

    • Stop Bleeding

 

Module 5

  • Herbs and formulas that:

    • Warm the Interior

    • Tonify Qi

    • Tonify Blood

    • Tonify Yin

    • Tonify Yang

 

Module 6

  • Herbs and formulas that:

    • are Astringent

    • Anchor Yang and Calm the Spirit

    • Nourish the Heart and Calm the Spirit

    • Dispel Wind and Stop Tremors
